In Italy a reduction of 70 people from the overall workforce has been announced today. No additional details for now.

EMEA - firsdt Middle East as it's super easy there. Then rest, big hub, countries, France, Germany, Poland..

In Europe OCI sales are separated in « OCI Infrastructure and AI » and « Database platform ».
Are theses categories particularly targeted?
Or is it a general RIF in EMEA all categories?
U.S. is definitely not done.
It can depend on local laws. California and Europe have some of the most stringent ones, I think. I don't live in either (but am in the USA), and my last day of service is Sep 22, having been notified Aug 13. Also, the information given to me is that you get 1 week of severance per year of service, plus 3 weeks.

@a4 Most of the AUG RIF will be on the payroll through late Sept. If they have RSUs vesting in Sept they will get it
who told you that? they can axe you effective immediately and just give you 2-3 months severance instead of early notice. this way they can do it September 14th and you get nothing on stock.

who told you it's done? it's just OCI department region by region. next is Fusion region by region. they need to complete the main bulk before mid September, cannot allow plebs get some vested RSU before the axe goes down - it's very anti-semitic
