If the schools are closed for icy roads why isn’t the bank closing? They don’t care about our safety. Almost spun out completely. Have to come into office for my 3 days though 🤡

Call in use a sick day! It's not hard to figure out.
The St. Louis region was closed on Monday, we were all told to work remote if possible.
@OP At the Scranton site, SOACC deemed closure to our building on safety concerns from the snow storm. About 11 inches of snow fallen with temps in the low teens. Salt treatment on roads ineffective in temps less than 20 degrees. SOACC made the right call. PA Governor also declared state of emergency which helped with the influence. If SOACC did not make the call, I was ready to use Monday as one my two days WFH.
Our building is less than a mile from the Montage ski resort in case you want to visit (or work).
@a4 spoken like a real H3
I agree, based on that pathetic Enact message they sent. More focused on how you are going to get to work and not your health and safety during the storm.
Because work is not school. School bus drivers can and usually do take the day off. You could too. Stop with this care business already.
@a1 152 traffic collisions in the area doesn’t seem to be “not that bad” especially when the roads freeze at night. I’m not driving on black ice mate.
Not to be devil’s advocate, it ain’t that bad this year weather-wise(unless you’re from a country very warm year-round) wink wink
