Yes, people can be fired at anytime; however no more scheduled layoffs this year.

They are definitely letting people go December 23. The C-suite in Hudson Yards needs a Christmas party activity - pin the pink slip on the employees

There are 60+ whose last notice day is the 26th, but nobody's final notice day is the 23rd.
