I don't understand how it's possible to lay people off when myself and my coworkers are so swamped with work that we are working 12 hour days plus weekends on salary?? So stupid! Reorg! We've lost so many longer timers with so much knowledge..we literally had to hire 3 people to fill one of their positions! Just one! But instead they are hiring more upper management!

@5fn It's not a rumbling, it's just the normal operating rhythm of SS&C. Every quarter like clockwork.
I have heard rumblings from friends at SS&C that there are further cuts coming in December/Jan - tight everyone its about to get bumpy
I was 'let-go' a while back and it makes you realise truly what a sh**fest SS&C has become.
It started when we became DST then it was okay for a while, then SS&C got their hooks in and took a massive dump on everyone and sacked a load of good people continually.
Peoples confidence and interest is shot and people left behind are just keeping the place ticking over....
What business was impacted?
Wait till September …. 14 to 16hr days coming as more get rig’s
I think that pretty much sums it up! The last couple of these definitely have an “age” component involved.
