@2gp allow me to doubt that they are going for 29 only , considering the workforce is 1800, that is barely 2%, the rest of EU is impacted in 15-20% in this second wave …
I believe the WoC will be announcing another ERE probably this month
@2gp Thanks for the info! May 31st is the notification date or the last day? Less than 30 people total or for each legal entity?
@2dx option 1: less than 30
Got that info from WC sources. Of course, corporate can change his mind before happens, but that is the information that WC is handling
@2dw source ? There are 2 options : less than 30 employees no need to do another ERE , if more than 30 they need to do another ERE and the process since the ERE is initiated until people exit can take between 2-3 months so exit wont happen before end of August , could you specify what scenario will take place ?
Apparently the 31 May will be the day for the second round.
The number of layoffs will be the maximum that regulation allows after ERE, and most LoBs will be affected
@tn do we know dates for Spain ?
@kd Malaga Hub employees moved from over 1200 in 2019 to a bit more 400 people in 2026. The space dedicated for Oracle employees in the office was drastically reduced, as well as the internal services. Probably the remaining LOB will be redistributed over EMEA offices.
It seems they will close the Malaga hub. It’s not anymore under their radar.
I haven't heard anything. But, they probably want to wait to see the effects of the March 31st layoffs. Did they go too far? You can bet they are monitoring it. If I had to guess, a few months from now.
