Looking forward to better days?

Despite the huge loss that Kohl’s had last year, the CEO is “extremely confident” in the company’s outlook. As an ordinary employee, I am not so confident when I read that full year net sales are down 20%. I'm not sure if there is room for... — read more

Things don’t seem to have improved

Top-heavy mess

Kohl’s has way too many high level people commanding large salaries making cost cutting decisions to save their own bonuses. I’ve seen the president and her marketing minions completely redecorate their corporate offices to the tune of hundreds of... — read more

Lay offs - Sept 2020

I am not shocked by Kohl's layoffs. This has been coming at them like a train. When the pandemic hit, they closed their stores temporarily and lost tons of money...so much that they took out a gigantic line of credit to try to stay afloat. Their... — read more

New round of layoffs? (May 2020)

Been hearing of more folks being let go. Nothing has been published but I know of a couple, for sure. Does anyone know the extent of this new round?

Let's hope

A furlough is not the same as a layoff. You are still an employee and until they fire you, you will still be called back to work.
