If you have a pulse and can form the most basic of sentences, you'll be hired. It's retail...what do you expect? It's not like you're doing something intricate. Geezus.

  • Interview was short and easy. Manager asked a few questions about previous experience and strengths and weaknesses. She also asked about my ability to work as a team and to provide an example in which I had gone above and beyond for a customer.
  • How would you handle a difficult customer?
  • How do you feel about being late for work or calling out sick? Why do you want to work for Kohl's? Name a time you went above and beyond for a customer?
  • Why Kohl's? If your assisting a customer and another walks up what would you do? Good and bad examples of a leader? What does customer service mean to you? What's 3 things customers believe in when they shop in retail? Why do you like working in retail? How do you handle customers with bad attitudes?
  • How would you describe a great sales environment?
  • Is the customer always right?
  • what do you know about late and absence at Kohl's
  • They asked about prior experience and problem solving questions.
  • What to talk about yourself?
  • You are available to work on holidays and weekend?
  • Why did you like your previous job?
  • How many hours are you available to work.
  • Do you have experience with customer service

  • She said she had an interview sheet with questionsabout math, then proceeded to say she didn't care if I was good at math, then just asked me about myself.
  • Nothing really, the questions were pretty basic, i assume it varies by your experience. It was my first retail job, they don't mind training whom ever seems fit. So bring your personality.
