A furlough is not the same as a layoff. You are still an employee and until they fire you, you will still be called back to work.

Start your job search now. The likelihood of recall is getting slimmer by the day. Kohl's has, at best, 5 months of cash. Doom is coming.
I do hope but I am very anxious.
I am the only person in my family who has a full time job, there is 5 people in our household.
If I lose this job we will all be financially crushed.
