If u leave intel due to ISP does it go on ur record in anyway and affect getting the next job? What about VSP?
From broadcomm engineer
Fear This is how fear works. You fear your manager sh---canning you. Your manager fears his/her manager sh---canning them. Those managers fear getting sh---canned by the VPs. Those VPs fear getting sh---canned by the executives. Those executives fear... — read more
IoTG HR meeting on Monday
Does anyone has any insight what will the Doug Davis and HR meeting be about? On what criteria will the additional layoff be based on?
How's the snake skin MICA bracelet doing
Is this the reason Apple watch flopped?
Intel making an IOT based condom would be disastrous
As everything else Intel does, It would be always late to get it up... And always be late to pull out in time...
Intel redefines desktop pc as mobile device
The reason Intel wasn't winning in mobile was due to the wrong classification of certain compute devices. Intel now states x86 is back where it belongs
Has anyone received their ISP paperwork?
I just checked the mail. It did not come today. Was supposedly mailed on Monday. Anyone receive it?
Maybe project cancellation announcements will wait until after VSP/ERP deadline of June 2?
After all this silence from across the BU's regarding which projects will be cancelled, I'm starting to speculate if they're waiting to announce any cancellations until after the VSP/ERP deadline June 2nd, when they have a better idea of headcount... — read more
Intel Groups should also rid itself of current TLM, SLM and FLM stale mgmt.
The levels shown above are very stale in their approach to do business and lack any innovative, vision. Perhaps new rising stars need to replace this ignorant set of mgrs going forward. What does Intel have to lose? These useless field lieutenants... — read more
Intel's confusing business cycle will only cause further demoralization
As the company moves into it's "growth areas" and let's just say these are more wishes than reality, the confusing restructure and low profit margins will further the demoralization of employees. They will also leave by attrition since Intel will no... — read more

Work it like the mercenaries
Let's face it must immigrants are here for money. I don't blame them. They just work at a company do their tasks but don't care if it's successful. If it goes belly up just move on like a swarm of locus. We should learn from them
Profile of exactly who Intel is letting go.
People are assuming Intel is letting go marginal people, but I will give you the demographics of one person who has just taken the VSP after being strongly urged to do so by managers, etc. BTW, same manager then in a panic wanted this employee to... — read more

Intel: Death by Arrogance

Intel already lost wearables!
Already, over 80% of the Android wearables market are sporting Qualcomm chips.
On this day, remembering Larrabee and other ventures that yielded little to no return; who pays the price for leaderships' mistakes?
Larrabee was a big deal years ago. The big wigs wanted to go after the high end gaming market plus parallel processing. Then, one day, all the hot air that filled the Larrabee balloon just disappeared, leaving a deflated, limp balloon. Did any upper... — read more

Will all VSP convert to ISP after June 2?
If that happens will that be selective such that some orgs will have more such conversion while others will have less? Will managerial input matter or HR will impose it?
How to appeal an ISP?
Can you share who you contacted and what is it based on?
Revenues have been flat for 5 years (30% down in real terms) and expenses are rising. That's why Intel fired 12000 people
Intel is a company in decline. It cannot organically grow and has an abysmal track record of destroying shareholder value through acquisitions

Got My Proxy Materials Asking for Me To Vote!

Whats the isp/vsp package in each country
I heard Ireland 7 weeks pay per year service Germany 5 weeks per year Others?
Why said INTEL IOT strategy? INTEL IOT strategy is dead cat bounce, another $10B wasted/evaporated in thin air!
Everybody in IOT and their brother in this business, they are making/will make SoCs for a $10 USD or less. For INTEL making money here, how much does a 14nm wafer cost and with that yield how many $10 USD or less SoCs will need to be on/sold it to... — read more

This is how it should work...
Intel should first for all immigrants on temporary work visa. If these people are H1b they are released back into the economy. If they are not needed they should return home. So I assume we fired 12000 h1b workers?
I understand that three people who were offered VSPs have interviewed and accepted positions in other groups at Intel.
We were led to believe that these VSP packages were given to "low performers". If this is true, why is HR and Legal being selective as to who can get their VSP offers ignored? That is downright discriminatory! HR and Legal decisions are ARBITRARY.
Inside Blue? Is "Be Open and Direct" Intel value now dead?
