Intel reputation in hiring?
How much will these layoff affect Intel's reputation in recruiting circles and colleges? Will it become difficult for them to attract the best talent?
Time for Golum to take the stage..

Salaries @ INTEL USA revealed/published
This is what your managers @ INTEL, my dear friends, don't want you to know. For anything in The World, since these data are making INTEL as the company, where any FOCAL, IMPACT or ACT, you name it, do NOT make any sense. Any sense at all. Your... — read more

Did BK just admit he doesn't know what the hell he is doing?
It started out. Another explanation of the virtuous circle. I mean how many more ways can you describe 4 ovals and 4 arrows. Then we were into it - the full explanation behind ACT. My heart started racing at the prospect that the ultimate strategy... — read more

Off topic: I really think someone should add a Fashion Training for Employees at SC12
Sorry if this is mean. This is my honest opinion. Looks like folks in RNB are more fashionable. 😄
So..it looks like this entire VSP/ERP WAS a bluff from HR?
BK said no more company wide ISP's. So everyone is now safe that was offered VSP. Wow..way to go Intel...good one..the laugh is on the people that fell for it.
BK did not mention the new focal system in the BUM. Aren't we supposed to start it in July?

A few interpretations from the Open Forum
Q: if SSL4 is used for ISP, won't that discourage trying new jobs? A: the employee owns their own career. You should meet with both managers and make sure you won't be at risk for SL4. Analysis: this is BS. The managers won't know this year's focal... — read more

Board Raises (20%) -- stockholder voting material

While Intel is firing people by the 1,000's and pushing 1,000's more to retire or quit, Intel has spent over $30k to send people to www.theartifliving.org
Treading water
Seems to me that EVERYONE is just treading water in this co. Either waiting for the lights to go back on, or to be switched off finally. BK and crew have failed hugely.
When Intel starts offering > $200k for a senior engineer I'll know they are interested in top performers
Intel you can't have your cake and eat it. You either have to up your game on stock and bonuses or stick with your diversity hiring.
And Intel really thinks it can do low power IOT
