Really enjoying my 6 figure payout today, that must have been painful for BK as he continues to BK the company. Thanks all that are slaving away for 60 hours + and of course in the 14nm factories and 10nm that are working 7 days a week 18 hours a... — read more
I feel out of place
I am 55. There is no more old people left. It feels odd to be the oldest person when I am at work. BK, can we hire more old people for diversity sake?
ERP taken - RSU vesting
All RSU show vested - Over 60 and rule of 75 so ran the table on all... For me no issue so far with stock or payouts.. Intel has been spot on to me so far.
You must admit Murthy is a genius.
Step 1: SSL4 ISP/VSP -> identify managers' pets as those who stayed by removing the older crowd and those who are not pets. Give a nice package for the good work done by these people. Step 2: Destroy managers and his/her pets with "reorgs" and more... — read more
Anyone see the similarities between murty and Steven Elop?
I do not mean by the looks but by the actions.
Intel review 1:1 posted. Walked out with ISP.

ERP - payout plus last 9 day payout deposited today
Came as 2 separate auto deposits. I assume the payout withheld 33% for taxes.
Anyone not signing the ISP Separation And Release Agreement?
If so, are you considering legal action?
Any update on ISPs overturned?
Anybody still waiting for appeal decision??
I slowed the PC decline today
I bought a Dell xps from part of my retirement $$
Should I quit now or wait for the next layoff? This is too stressful.
I'm really tired of the whole situation. I don't want to be at Intel anymore. Thoughts?
Wind River Systems RIP/RIF
RIF today here in Alameda and it was bloody...which means it affected people close to me. Everyone that was working from home greater than 3x per week was let go.
More layoffs happening now in IT and soon will hit SMG.
Please post updates here to keep everyone informed.
2 months on.. no calls !
Got ISPed. 2 months on. no interview calls! in HW. What the hell is going on out there????
Fab 11x?
I work as an engineering tech in F11x. None of the management will tell us anything about layoffs or shutdown. They keep us in the dark for for unknown reasons. I have seen many early retirements. Is retirement just another word for layoff? Does... — read more

Sorry PSO really BK'd it and BK continued to BK it with IoT and memory, so sad what could have been with this company https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPhone
Why is BK still around if employees got VSP/ISP for their "performance"?
BK's sub-IR performance = monumental failure. Time to step down buddy!
How wasteful and inefficient is this company
I got VSPs by BK, today on my desk I got at least 6" stack of payer that cost Intel more than 50 bucks to send. All of it junk .. legal crap for heat care, SERMA, Cobra... Even after this I still can't get a straight answer on when my money is... — read more

Read and weep intel, another example of billions spent nothing gained. I hope the development of custom FPGA for servers is worth it, LOL. 14nm is the best technology on earth, according to the Intel technologists. Well than where are the Altera... — read more
Aicha's infamous 10 year site strategy plan for IMC revealed
We are approximately half way through the site strategy plan since the acquisition of infineon wireless. Clearly it doesn't take a genius with today's announcement to conclude a few points: firstly, the IMC management have absolutely no idea where... — read more
Intel implements infinite monkey theorem experiment
Intel today decided to shift development from the site that writes the textbooks on LTE to the one that reads those very same books. Let's see how this works out.
Aicha's stupidity knows no bounds!
Just when I thought Aicha had lucked out with the Apple win she grabs defeat from the jaws of victory. As someone who doesn't work in France I can confirm that she has just torpedoed her own boat with Sophia closure.
France layoffs
Heard today it was announced that all sites in France TL, NC will be closed. Can any of our French colleagues confirm our deny this....
STOP THE JOB
Thought I had to fart, but then I felt a tinge of liquid so I stopped the job!
It is time for BK to step down.
Just because you are CEO doesnt qualify you to lead Intel. just like most long form.managers at Intel you inherited this title and so far have failed miserably. Bk, do the right thing for your current employees (whats left of them) and your current... — read more
Anybody received the 9k COBRA?
in oregon, signed agreement on early June, received the severance pay last week, but still no COBRA, anybody received the 9000 cobra?
Is this how BK, Murthy and Aicha establish trust?
The ink has only just dried on a purchase order for an initial batch of modems to Apple. Instrumental to the successful execution of 7360 (the latest Intel cellular baseband chip) was Sophia Antiplolis a small Intel site in the south of France. This... — read more
How your pension works in a nutshell (in response to another post that refuses to post so trying this way)
yes, it's possible to have zero pension. There's a complex formula that's used. This formula )
Pension shows zero
Is it possible pension is zero even if rule of 75 met and retired?
62 days and counting and still no ISP severance, ESPP refund or Cobra $9K payments yet!
Called HR multiple times, never get he same answer twice but in general told ' check (direct deposit) is in the mail' then nothing. Same for pension money. I was told it would roll to Fidelity by 6/23/16. Fidelity now investing what's up there. Truly... — read more
