@1gxh - Nobody is saying the job is easy. However, BK's decisions over the past 3 years have only made the bad situation he inherited even worse. The mess that has been this whole ACT chapter should be more than proof of the horrible decision making at the CEO and MCM levels.
To be fair BK has a very difficult job.
I think it's mission impossible.
Intel missed mobile and there is simply no viable recovery path.
Intel = DEC largely because of the decions made long ago by PSO.
Great article. Hopefully will bring some sense to analysts and investors on the damage that BK is really doing to the company and its employees.
Not to mention BK laid off the first round of workers, all 50 and above, in 2015 so he could bring in more phags, dykes, men haters...and call it diversity. How BK still has a job is beyond me. One thing is clear, a major class action lawsuit will come from this. Age Discrimination has been blatant by Intel.
BKs raise seems like "make hay when the sun shines". He's probably realized he has to quit soon and lobbied/threatened to get more pay. Got Murthy in to do the dirty work and become his successor.
Krzanich is a complete and utter failure. This loser's record proves it.

And don't forget the $3B+ Fab42 empty never used factory in AZ. What a disgrace to the shareholders. He probably okay'd it based on his belief that he could get the iPhone business and that foundry would take off after landing that whale...and/or his PC strategy and demand forecasting crew are monkeys throwing darts at a spreadsheet. That fab is the perfect everlasting symbol of the head-in-the-sand ego-driven management that is bringing the company down.
This was a pretty good article that touched upon BK's strategy (or lack thereof), the age discrimination and the people at Inte unhappy with the direction of the company.

Not a single success in all the shiny bullshit he's enabled - Sofia, Curie, MICA, drones, Intel Foundry. His decision to wrap $50 around every single piece of mobile silicon chasing MSS in a declining market that cost the company >$8B. Heading for the same idiocy for modems for Apple. A lame assTV show that nobody watched. Layoffs done in a completely dumbass way that cost the company trust, morale, and employee engagement. Layoffs done in order to meet quarterly numbers because not a single f---ing decision this guy has made has been positive. Busted about to throw a fundraiser for a racist and misogynist pig.
What exactly has this brain dead loser done? Forget a nearly 50% raise, what exactly has he done that's deserving of anything but an IR and SSL5?
