I totally agree with you. Both VH (and some of her useless execs) and Icahn are bad for the company. While many people on this board blame everything on VH and the execs, I think some of those on the middle management level are equally responsible for where we are today. VH trusted the wrong people and she were probably not informed of many truths. Over the past few years, we saw too many cases of overpromised but undelivered, and the unethical people who did these intentionally were getting promotions, from individual contributors to leads/managers, managers to directors, from directors to GM. On the other hand, naysayers were pushed out and down. It had encouraged more and more people to behave the same way. This may not be the culture over the entire company, which is why I think many don't realize VH is not the only one that needs to be held accountable for our situation. How many times were we pressured to highlight only the successful cases and no one would ever bring up the rest that are failures? In Resources, it's all about politics. If you are a favorite of J Bennet, you have the immunity to do whatever you want in his #family, ethical or not.
