that VH & Icahn both are bad for employees. Either way, we are doomed. Props to VH that she didn't do layoffs in 2016 but the Anadarko deal was a shot to the head which will lead to mass layoffs in 2-3 months. Feel terrible for those employees who did not reallocate their 401K for the oxy stock they received as the match. As for Icahn, his trail of apathy towards employees of companies he associates with is well known.
One bunch of people I won't feel sorry for are the overpaid, nincompoop & unethical middle management. The worse group of managers I've seen in my career over multiple companies. I guess the sh*t really floats to the top and we are seeing the consequence of it today.
