Pay cut?

I've been working here for a few years now, but I really want to leave. I've been looking at entry level IT positions recently but most companies don't post the salaries, and if they do, they're about $20-30K lower than what I'm making now, which is... — read more

Slido Questions for Darren Woods

I noticed many are fearful to post their questions on Slido. We might as well do it here, for those leaving EM to post our questions for us. Personally I was shock when Ian took out pretty PowerPoint slides 5 years ago and said it was relevant... — read more

No Pride in the Exxon brand and heritage

Check these links out and you will understand. The company would be on top of its game if they still ran these type commercials. https://youtu.be/XMYl39-_6ZI https://youtu.be/VDqftcicpFY https://youtu.be/dPMWEevnhXw

Mo Money, Mo Problems

Pity your high-paid leaders because they have expensive tastes so this downturn hurts them more than it hurts you as they have bigger homes, bigger cars, more toys, financial commitments. That was the message today at an EMIT Canada town hall. — read more

25 years - gone just like that

25 years in this company. Gone just like that. 2.5M lump sum, $5M 401k and $3M in savings. 63 years old. How am I going to make it now? Who's going to hire me?

If anyone would have told me that Exxonmobil was going to do this to their employees 6 months ago I would have laughed. But just shy of retirement and without a single statement of any kind of performance issues, missed expectations, nothing... ... — read more
