Heard that they are touching the operation now

Eastman continues to layoff tenured employees, keeping less experienced (certainly less paid) employees… regardless of merit. It’s shameful.

Definitely not the best times to lose a job. Good luck to IO colleagues who are being let go. Is it only this plant/manufacturing line, or do we expect more to come in the near future?

Any idea who will be the biggest target groups of layoffs?

I know they gave VSPs to the older folks to make them retire. I was wondering if they were going to do a performance layoff and if so, by when do y’all think?

Looks like voluntary separation starting then will bump up to involuntary to fill the rest. 3% reduction from what I have heard

Kingsport Rumors are strong. Even include hourly people. Union meetings have started again.
