Another round of layoffs at DST. 34 let go on June 28. Surprised everyone especially myself. 3 people were aged 39. Everyone else was 40's 50's and 60's.

More layoffs to come. They did not cut the full amount to fill the advertised 67 million savings. Look for more cuts in March or July.

Most of the people that were laid off should have been let go a long time ago. Most hadn\'t been pulling their weight for years. I feel for anyone that loses their job, but in the end, you reap what you sow.

It has begun! Once known for having no layoffs, they can no longer make that statement. A relative I know has been laid off. The potential number of permanent layoffs could be into the thousands at all levels including officers.

Instead of putting so many new people in the unemployment lines, why did DST not look at DRASTIC cuts so everyone could still have a position. Interesting that the #2 Man in the company, the other Tom, retired only one month ago.
