I used to put all my Amway orders on the mainframe back when there were few PC's. Musta taken up lots of storage space as it was expensive back then

we used to tape magnets to the back of the managers "crt" now called monitor. it distorted the screen images. he would call tech support for help.when the arrived the magnet was gone and all was normal. they thought the manager was nuts.

That's funny - the hiding under desks story lightens the mood among all the depressing comments about how DST Output is such a horrible place to work, with horrible people.

You used to be able to hide under women's desks at DST and wait for them to sit down and look up their skirts. Nothing happened to you.But now......its no fun I hear....

DST management is overpaid and under worked. And not too smart IMO.

The layoffs did happen - quietly. Look at KC Business Journal article 'DST financials reveal employee terminations'. It is also in DST's 2nd quarter earnings announcement.

Layoffs are a coming. DST = don't stay there. That's either by your choice or managements choice. But "don't stay there"....
