Anyone heard any other news/rumors of buyout? Stock up one day down the next.

Are these rumors of buyout in January solid? Or just that simply rumors. Worried about my job and family.

Ironically concho never thought they would ever catch the lay-off game. Guess what.... no body is immune in this market. Sadly your perfect palace is crumbling along with your stock.

Seems like a good place to lose jobs and money. Sad.

I am in a position to know. In a meeting in 2018 discussing laying everyone older than 55 off that we could, except Management. They are doing exactly this without severance and taking millions in stock not vested.

Confirmed. Layoffs are here.. Corporate reorg, flattening structure. Prepping to be bought out with stock prices this low.

What’s your guess? Will Concho lower G&A? Chevron buying the whole thing? When can we get a sauna in the wellness center?

Layoffs in 2015 are possible, many folks operating in the Permian Basin might have to let people go if prices remain depressed or drop more. Good luck and god bless.
