I got laid off this past go around. Was let go on a Wednesday. Sulked Thursday and Friday. Applied for internal jobs the following Monday. Rehired withing 2 weeks, Cisco does fast track and I'm proof of it.

Does anyone know if employees over 60 get additional items in their severance package from Cisco? I noticed that if you are over 50 you have access to post Cobra health insurance.

Who could be hit next? What locations? What departments? Are certain employees in more danger than other? In any case , it’s hard to think they’ll stop at this point.
