The at&t rolling bar van door is open for business

Come & git it. 2 drink maximum. Must stagger to your car and drive off, then return if you require 2 more free drinks her in the slum of Grand Prairie, Tx. Barely got the bottles hidden out of sight when my fat azz boss came out. Chewed and sucked... — read more

Time Warner spin off

Stankey commented that they “broke even on the Time Warner deal”. If they broke even why are they still in over a $160 billion in debt?

Customer Service

AT&T customer service is the worst ever! The standard reply is “I can’t help you”!! Stankey needs to have a talk with his direct report that is over customer service. Better yet go in the field and try to solve a customer service problem. The... — read more

Poll: wfh management vs craft ws 32

Stay ws32 craft (26 years) or take wfh job as 1b management with non exempt opportunity for overtime. Right now I’m leaning staying craft for the job security. Doesn’t sound to me the higher pay in management is worth worrying about constant... — read more

I quit today because I refuse to commit fraud

My RSM was threatening a coaching discussion if I didn't open a sole prop for a new line.. Customer just wanted to add their uncle to their account. Manager took my iPad and clicked on Business and said Just do what we talked about or i will have to... — read more

Worst offenders.

Anyone have any layoff experience with SVP Cheryl Choy? While a small insignificant fish she is known to be aggressive.

Skip Levels and Bad Management

For the love of all that is holy, if you are going to promote anyone into a management role as a diversity hire, please coach and mentor them! Their reports suffer, they suffer, and morale is in the dumpster. Upper management should never wait to... — read more

Call DTV To Cancel

That survey monkey that was sent out was BS. You’ll get charged if you don’t call in and request cancellation. There is no loyalty offer either for T employees.

Stock Price

AT&T is a sideways stock with a diminished dividend. Debt is still too high, the Board of Directors are cardboard cutouts and c-suite management collectively will pullout over $60 million in compensation!!

Low pay raise

Perhaps I would've gotten a bigger raise if I hadn't put in any effort at all. Nevermind, now I'm just wondering if low pay raise is a red flag that I can lose my job soon? I will appreciate your opinions.

AT&T Stock: The Dividend, Debt, And Discovery

The spin-off will allow AT&T to return to its roots and work to lower debt. The yield will still be robust, and the dividend will be well funded. However, since investors will be "inheriting" Discovery, an understanding of that company is... — read more

At&t Business Fiber

We are giving this stuff away.. I guess they figured out how bad our reputation is an need to give it away. How the he-l are we supposed to make money??

Mask Policy

Why hasn’t the policy been updated since the new CDC policy last week? We have followed their policy during this entire time, why not now???

2 d*mn percent. I’m done.

ASM here, I got back off a vacation today to find out that I got a glorious raise of 2%. Like, WTF? I took an ASM promotion back in October, and was told my raise this year would be based on performance as a rep (was trending for Summit when I... — read more

I switched to Cricket

5 lines for $160, better price on new phones, and better network. Google TV for $65 is next after DTV debacle.

Workload not divided fairly

Too much work, too much overtime, too little rest. On the other hand, some here almost brag about milking the cow and working the bare minimum. Obviously then the work is not well distributed?

Workforce shrunk by 12 percent in 2021

Am I seeing this right? I was trying to find how many employees T had at the end of last year (most of the figures are still showing 230,000 from 2020) and the only place I could find indicates that the number has gone down to 203,000. That means... — read more

ATS back to office

Got the e-mail this morning - ATS (Jeremy Legg) will start going back to the office on 3/1, and we'll be "fully in our hybrid operations" by 4/4 - I understand that to mean "flex workers" back sometimes and "office workers" back most/all of the time. — read more

Virtual Marketing Summit

What a waste of time. And sending out goody boxes to over 1000 people by UPS had to be pretty expensive. Sorry but I feel so checked out and really don't care. I will do my job for the next few years until I can retire and won't miss this place one... — read more

No one here will admit it

that most employees work less than they worked anywhere before and that for that bare minimum they are compensated more than they would be anywhere else. I'm sorry if it offends anyone, but it's true. I have friends who have gone to other companies... — read more
