FuBoTV is the best streaming service. I tried them all and they are better in many ways.

in 2020 after 10$ a month they zing you with a 100$ bill.stanky knows more about tv than anybody.dtv was all junk anyway
I never took it but several of my friends got a letter within two days of retiring. I hope everyone will cancel
Dtv—-Disconnect tv….I’m retired I went for Hulu live tv includes Disney + much better deal than being ripped off!!
Drop DTV now and head for You Tube TV 45 dollars a month for 3 months then 65 after that no hidden costs and app actually works on almost all devices including NVidea Shield instead of having to sideload a new copy of the DTV stream APK every 2 months. What a PITA.
DTV employee discount for T folks ends 3/9. Your billing is going to be prorated upwards after that. Don’t pay $5 for DogTV. Disconnect!
I have had my TV, Cell service, Internet, and 2 voip lines with ATT since I started there in 1990. Of course the technology has changed a few times and the TV wasn't added until 2008 but regardless after working for them for over 30 years as a field manager they slammed me last month for voip lines back dated to Dec so dropped those instantly. Already moved cell service over to T-Mobile over 55 plan instantly when I left as that was actually cheaper than with my discount. Now have dropped DirectV after reading the nonsense these guys are doing to past employees over to You Tube TV. I now have a very simple 25 dollar bill for Internet only service and as soon as they touch that I have both Verizon or T-Mobile 5G at home service available where I live. What a joke ATT.
You were notified. Instead of leaving DTV, which you should've done ages ago, you waited until you finally got the back bill to come here and cry.
Now? You're a customer. If you just call and ask for someone in retention, you might be pleasantly surprised that they can do something offsetting about this situation. I know I call every 12-24 months and negotiate 'something' which keeps me with AT&T basic cable and phone. I can't give up the Fiber, and I have cell phones... so it's generally a bundle deal that keeps me on. But I've had fees waived, and received discounts every time I've called. I am definitely not paying "off the shelf" pricing, and I haven't for over 5 years.
well, I guess they treated you differently than 3 other management employees I know who took retirement at the end of 2021 shakes head
Seems like just cuz they can’t get their sh@t together they shouldn’t back bill. Ge-z
I recieved absolutely none of that in fact they gave us some silly website to go to that is broken when you hit the link for any retiree benefits for services
oh the drama, you weren't "slammed". This has been discussed repeatedly here. In your exit package you reviewed before leaving you will see they state discounts will be removed within 1-2 billing cycles from date of separation. They also send a letter about it.
Retiree DTV concession removals are being handled no differently than the way customers in the general public have been treated for years. This was the company you worked for.
Just ki---d it off so that doesn"t happen moving over to You Tube TV have my service until 20th of march removed payment method also, ATT should be embarrassed the way they treat retirees.
For employees with the discount that responded to the end of the US employee discount - anyone hear anything as a result to responding you want your service discontinued from that thing from Santone? I got my Feb normal bill - but nothing yet on March and how to return the equipment.
Are they going to slam employees with this also?
Yep, the discount is discontinued when we leave, get "downsized out" or retire from AT&T. It takes two or three months before it hits our accounts. Then there is a huge bill because the amount is recalculated back to the actual date of departure. For months following that bill, the reps will quote an amount that is no where near the actual amount on the bills that arrive. It isn't worth it. Get rid of Directv as soon as you know you are leaving the company. There are much better options.
From OP - it was charged to my credit card on 2/23/22…. I called DTV and they said I was notified, A-Holes probably sent it to my company email that was deleted when I retired! And yes, I told them to disconnect my DTV! Repeat, A-Holes!
That's going away. Might as well start looking for replacement. Most of us stream, Hulu + or You Tube TV.
when did you notice it? They just took my 10 bucks for his last bill and when i look at my account 10 is scheduled for March 20th.
