Here in San Diego the Central Offices are crowded with splicers all day. I guess it’s a free zone. Free pay , no work. Just hang out. Professional chair occupiers.

Voluntary Offer

Voluntary offer news came this morning for Val Scheder’s org. Off payroll 12/01

Let’s Get This Straight

There is NO work going on. Digitalization has finally eliminated the need for CWA represented employees. Current contract limits forced layoffs of the scale required. Would an offer not be a realistic option?

We are back!

Our 2Q2022 results were nothing less than stellar. Special thanks goes out to Stankey, Pascal Desroaches, and the BOD. If we can keep the momentum, we will be in second place, in front of Verizon, behind TMUS. The past two years were a struggle, it's... — read more

Work distribution

While some say that the only reason they haven't left yet is easy pay, I'm overworked and almost totally burned out. What's this all about? Either the distribution of work is not right, or maybe it's just me and I need to stop putting in real work... — read more

According to the most recent Pension Funding notice on Fidelity NetBenefits, as of 1/1/2021 the AT&T Pension Benefit Plan had Total Plan Assets of $50,883,498,000. And if I remember correctly a few years ago CFO John Stephens said ATT had over... — read more

AT&T is losing more than it knows

A lot of folks I know are leaving. The issue is their dedication and knowledge is also leaving. We hired a replacement last year for a retired employ and he lasted 6 months. His reason for leaving - it’s too much work. And this, ladies and... — read more

Great Q3 results

Quantum Peer Feedback

Erosion of benefits over time

Personally, I don't have any hopes that the erosion of benefits will stop. Fortunately, I'm leaving soon and I haven't wasted too much time in this disorganized company. I can't wait to submit my resignation. Purely out of curiosity, a question for... — read more

Too many people are still leaving

Another colleague has left, and another is giving notice soon. That probably fits into the company's plan, to have as many of us leave voluntarily? If that's the plan, then it's going great. /s.

Rudderless ship
