How many EVPs/VPs are there now? Laying off more staff and plans for another round this year…but increasing the number of VPs is not financially prudent. Clients notice and are not seeing an “insanely great” improvement with the product or services. Cutting valuable, dedicated expert staff with close relationships to clients is not the answer. Clients keep leaving. Altera’s response? Hire more VPs.

Seems like managers are telling their direct reports that Altera had already gone through CPM earlier this year so no plan for more layoffs. Which BU function this ‘new round’ would impact?
