How close are they to the dream of everyone below certain levels being replaced by AI or completely replaced via labor arbitrage?
A rough % is enough.

@ms 100%
Not AI but off shoring. Maybe the Indians should go back to their homeland as that's where the jobs are at. Bring out the sage....
@jv Similar thing happened to me. They did me a favor. Got a better opportunity all around. Compensation, team, work environment, the work itself, and all around great. It really can be the best thing to happen to you.
@gy I know I was let go in a “restructure” last August, do far 2 onshore people were hired, 4 off shore and they are planning to hire another onshore as work isn’t moving and is not correct and customers are getting angry. lol maybe they should’ve listened when I said I did 90% of the work lol but getting out was the greatest thing, that place was so toxic, my new place treats everyone with courtesy! Pays better too. If you are downsized it may be for the best for you! And the severance package was great!
@ea Because they have to hire 3 or 4 arbitrage employees for each American fired and even then the work doesn't get done right.
@dd why not?
I was going to say 10% for AI but then I saw the "or labor arbitrage". I'd say 75% with labor arbitrage, but it's not working out so well.
Not sure. But here's hoping Papa can buy another boat or vacation home.
