I'm seeing new jobs being posted in the design departments but I was told that hiring was on freeze or just being prioritized. The new roles I'm seeing are similar to ones that have been frozen and still posted.

HR is just posting ans interviewing to stay busy. No one is actually getting hired

Wouldn’t know, still eating to hear back from an interview from last year
A lot of the ones posted are to get a pipeline of candidates. Hiring always freezes in Q4.
