Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

What happens to those on LTD?

With all the changes, I fear I'll return to a place I do not recognize. After being sick for so long, it's depressing to read how much worse things have become via posts on this board.

OP here - thank you. I sort of suspected some of the details you gave me. I'll prepare for the worst.

If there were any review periods during your LTD they can give you bad reviews even if you didn’t work at all during the rating period. It makes it easier to fire you with cause as soon as you return to office.

They dont have to wait to lay you off. They can do it when you are on leave.

Won’t know until you return. The more things change the more they stay the same.

I'm guessing you will be terminated as soon as your Dr releases you from care
They can't do anything as long as your on long term. I can speak from experience, it happened to me at a previous employer. Off for 12 months during Cancer treatment. When I was release my employer did not take me back. Said my position was held for the time required by law and they filled it. I know they didn't Good luck!

Same. Been out most of the past year and a half. My previous position was absorbed so I’ll have to enter the job search program. Much has changed with the culture and structure of the company. It’ll be major different, but first there needs to be a remote position available.
