Short answer you are never safe at Oracle. No front line managers are in the loop. Your Director/VP may have some insights and if you have friends in HR you may get some leaks. They removed all the channels on Slack so it is hard to find out what is going on. Your job performance does not matter - it is whether your director/vp likes you or not - could be shared religious beliefs, political beliefs, dislike for any reason etc. Unprofessional unethical behaviour is rampant in the organization.
