Let's put some consideration to this considering that a lot of jobs will be going overseas. It's a last attempt at keeping some of the roles stateside.

Jesus. Anyone that wants to unionize the office workforce at chevron is a complete buffoon. I can represent myself and don’t need to pay dues to some union goon to do it for me.

Clearly never worked in a unionised shop if you had you would not be making this id--tic suggestion.
Go ahead unionize and see where you are in two years...it won't be working or earning anything like your current salary....but make sure you pay your union dues.....before you pay your mortgage

You have to be kidding? Unions and their deadbeat entitlement mentality are destructive. Are you familiar with the "socialist" Australian labor unions that routinely hold the company hostage? Just one of many examples.
