In recent meeting, we were told to expect all current and new Epic positions moving to Ireland. Apparently Epic is Ireland's national system. Never assume your job is secure. They will find a way to outsource when ever possible. I wouldn't be surprised if our entire division gets sold off soon.

Having recently lived in Ireland I can assure you Epic is not Ireland’s national system. For a number of years there has been an Epic working group based mostly in the Letterkenny office in northwest Ireland.
What kind of Epic jobs do we have? What will be moving?
I’ve always been a little confused - the way I hear it, we require Epic certifications for these postings, but we won’t sponsor people for the training and that’s the only way to get it. So are we just hiring externally?
A damn shame we cannot transfer there. Get out of clown land. Their visa requirements are stiff though.
