Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

8 Hour workday.

It is a complete joke that a company that forces exempt, salaried employees to work 20+ hours of overtime each week. These executives then have the stones to question if we worked 8 hrs???.
Our laptops take an additional 5 minutes to boot up with all the "productivity monitoring crzxp on them. Yet these clueless manager still don't know what we do.
Then to add insult to injury we have to waste at least 30 minutes everyday explaining to clueless "managers" what we did.
Wells fargo has lost class action lawsuits for not paying over time.
I cannot wait until this organization gets fined for violating labor laws.

@av
Actually due to the 50 and 60 hour work weeks I will gladly leave this company.
It will be worth it to leave this sh1t hole with you illiterates.
But if I go this piece of company will pay for every year I tolerated with the likes of you and your bullsh1t.

Hard to prove because they run everything through multiple law reviews. Remember that they know any working condition the implement will have many people trying to find anything that even hints at a lawsuit. Most stuff is pretty airtight

Exempt means exempt from overtime you mo--n. Crawl back under your rock and keep on coffee badging until your sorry a-s gets deservedly canned.

If you're being forced to work overtime, you need to change something. I've never come close to working 60 hours.

Yeah, the greedy mo--ns in NYC are definitely losing sleep about people only being in office for 2 hours. They literally spend every waking moment trying to figure out how to make it zero. That's what the "8 hours minimum" BS is all about. These clowns don't care about production, team building, innovation, or anything else. They just want us gone, and this is one more way to do it.

If you're exempt, then overtime isn't relevant. If you're working that much, then you have nothing to worry about. The purpose was to weed out those that were showing up for 1-2 hrs.

There is a class action lawsuit by BofA employees for time required to boot up not included in time worked.
