Does anyone know if L3Harris is planning to outsource the rest of their IT infrastructure/departments to InfoSys and HCL once they take over from Accenture?

I always wondered, if those guys in the business that play with data all day are so smart and find so much hidden value, why aren't their solutions implemented company wide?
yes more areas will be outsourced even if you are aligned within a division. i would prepare for the eventuality. Any function that operates in a cost center will be scrutinized for recovery
@3e8 I am not sure who is managing her moves and saying, yeah that is a great idea, but think about this
she outsourced the people that do the work and retained all of the management, yet expects accenture to manage it without management on their side?
I think she called the wrong people, they need a temp service, not a managed service, who do you think manages it?

too bad, you are complicit. It doesn't matter to me, I have moved on and accepted my most likely fate, but you people have to live with your current and future reality.

@jz I would hate to guess how many people there are in the business as "shadow IT" and spend the majority of their time playing around with technology to produce what something like palantir will produce from a prompt, easily 1000+ people making the same $ as IT was
It would not surprise anyone who's been paying attention that L3 Harris intends to outsource everything and remain an integration house. That is, cobbling together all of the products and services they have outsourced to other companies and pulling them together under one brand and selling it as their own. Thus, they follow the path to becoming a prime contractor. The false narrative that Chris Kubasik has been pushing for years. But, L3 Harris will never be Lockheed Martin. They will never be Boeing. They will never be BAE systems. L3 Harris will eventually be broken up into pieces and sold off to the aforementioned prime contractors.

The focus of the last few years has been on CHQ IT. Once this InfoSys/HCL transition is “stabilized”, segment IT is next. Only makes sense based upon recent events, within L3H and the industry as a whole. Adding AI/Palantir into the mix, makes it more so.
I very seriously doubt that there is anything this executive "leadership" team is NOT willing to sacrifice for the good of their personal compensation packages.
They could save a lot of money by outsourcing some C suite people!
Everyone is potentially on the chopping block. I wouldn’t put it past them to outsource more departments.
