Most resilient field job to lay offs

just curious which field hand job had least lay offs in downturns: completions, D&M, fracking, coil tubing etc within oilfield service companies?

Sigmanda Mandinga a long time SLB star employee was brutally fired today in front of her colleagues in Sugar-land - was this a screw up by HR?

Sigmanda had 7 patents to her name, published 31 technical papers, had great SLP ratings and was a key player in recent successes in development of SLB frac software. Cant believe they let her go but goes to show you no one but no one is sacred in... — read more

Who the real losers are

The Black guys are still there

I dont understand how the blacks at my location are still there. I thought they would be the first to go, they are only there because of affirmative action. I guess with all the racial mess going on they are trying not to stir anything up.

Names got in, and out of the execution list that screwed up the final numbers. Could not get the paperwork ready on time. Everyone is safe for the next two weeks in MEA, at least..

Sorry fellow oil workers,

Halliburton is going to do to Baker Hughes what Schlumberger did to MI Swaco, destroy it. And then laugh all the way to the bank.
