Is there any way I could volunteer to be laid off? My past performance is good and I don't know if they will wipe out our current project. So I want to volunteer and get the severance package, and in turn save someone else.

Vanilla ARM/Imagination CPU/GPUs seem good enough going forward, what is the benefit of QCOM investing further in Kryo/Adreno? The modem must be the only real crown jewel to keep?

Anybody know what was typically done in previous layoffs? It might be a lot less this time since it's such a large number. I heard a rumor that we might get two weeks of free soda for every year on the job.

I just got in to work early as usual, past by the gym people looks happy exercising. Even yesterday a saw coworkers having a blast at the basketball yard afterwork. Is this a bad dream ?
