Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Even SB knows there's nothing to be thankful for.

No email about Thanksgiving this year. Guess he accidentally fired his email composer along the way?

@x6 SB keeping a low profile because no money = no inventory, it is sadly as simple as that

I didn't see any Thanksgiving note from SB - it's another tone deaf SB miss. He is so disconnected from his people, and his results are horrible, we need a new CEO. We almost had a riot in a production sales team call week, no one can understand how plans went way up when the product offerings were so completely blown up and we don't even have November and December inventory for most of the production offerings.

SB reminds me of Commodus.
Both came into power through little work of their own, through a line of people who knew what they were actually doing. Both just happened to be at the side of those in power.
Commodus becomes sole emperor after Marcus Aurelius dies (is ki-led.)
SB becomes CEO after previous CEO passed away.
Commodus loved gladiators, fought against them in fixed exhibitions to make him look better.
SB participates in fixed exhibitions through the fireside chat and town halls, his own arena. None of which are natural dialogue, all are planned ahead including the random questions.

Commodus re-introduced/re-founded Rome after the large fire, re-invented it so to speak. He declared everything his own, renamed much of Rome and it's inner workings after himself. There was no more this, or that, there was only Commodus-related names and figureheads. He picked up everything he could and put it under the name of Commodus. Sound familiar?

As the fictional portion of the movie with the same characters states;
Maximus: "Are you not entertained?"

@OP SB view is that we should all be thankful we have a job, like Xerox are doing us a favour. Better still, he openly says at group meetings if you don’t like it then LEAVE.

You’ve only been here two minutes SB, the blink of an eye for a lot of us.

YOU are the one lucky to have a job.
