@wq It’s completely possible to do that given how incompetent leadership is within. In our org I know of at least 2 people working a second full time job while they are supposed to be working at Cigna.
They bought their pharmacy competitor last year and let go of their own people instead of the people they bought. Ruthless. They they purchased a new pharmacy on the water.

No department is safe. Best advice is to be ready. Everyone is replaceable.
Maybe can work both jobs.
I personally was hoping to be JE’d as I have another job lined up and set to start in mid January. Was hoping to double dip for a year

@m8 ignorance is bliss my friend….. you can always tell who is a Band 4 or higher and who isn’t.
highly unlikely theyll have a schedule up to august saying job elimination.. obviously affects morale

@jf They can and and we all do. Why is this hard to believe? It currently goes out to next August with a couple months of no layoffs.

If someone gets laid off , I would love to buy a lunch/dinner or send a gift card. This is most unusual period to get laid off. RIP to such leadership.
Where do you find the JE calendar?
@ev 12/4 is a date where layoffs may happen, this is on the JE calendar. The calendar doesn’t include numbers or areas.
are you just putting up a random date or do you actually have knowledge.. havent heard anyone say 12/4 but if you heard 12/4 then you should have an idea of the impact.
There should not be one. It’s inhumane to layoff people at this time of year!
