A more honest name would be 'Honeywell Vintage Technologies', the revised 1970's style branding then really suits it!
Man, RemainCo is going to tank so, so hard at the end of this year. I am happy for the Aero guys, hope it improves for them like it did for the Solstice guys!
The Honeywell Aero branding is acceptable and contemporary enough but the Honeywell Technologies branding is f'kin horrendous, they somehow made it look even more old fashioned and who chose that typeface! I think it sums up the future of both businesses. Aero will literally fly, Hon Tech will rot and wither. Elliot saved and sold what was worthwhile and left the junk with the clown.
What I think! Both logos su-k! I am serious they are ugly.
A lot of excitement from insecure leaders, on LinkedIn, as well as useless bottom feeders who wanna be somebody. They like each others posting in a vicious circle and next RIF should target these unnecessary people wasting company resources.
Aero has theirs previewed on LinkedIn as of this morning.
Orange isn't my personal favorite, but it seems to work. It breaks from Honeywell red, but doesn't land with all the other aero companies with blue logos.
I need a laugh, is it the public domain yet :)
"We are building the new Honeywell"
No Vimal, you ki-led the Honeywell.
What technology are you talking about? Name one
@OP
Meh 🫤
I do not think the logos make much of a difference.
It will be interesting to see the real picture after the split.
So far, all that I see at remainco is more work, piled up on the remaining workers, after layoffs and people retiring, and with minimal or no hiring.
I know they bring contractors, but the contractors can only help so much. The contractors that I have seen are mostly juniors and their time with the company is obviously limited. They cannot possibly have in-depth knowledge of anything.
Because of that, and the tight deadlines, more times than not, they end up doing poor work, with poor or no documentation at all; just enough to get by. I am pretty sure that they get paid dirt cheap too. That would explain why the company loves CSWs so much, and has so many of them.
@d8 Thanks Jim
The new branding is the same as putting lipstick on a corpse.
@eh and at the same time we can tell we have lots of indians roaming in this forum, cause most of us in US, never heard or travelled with Indian Airlines.
At least now everyone can see Honeywell aerospace is really just another has-been sold to India to milk.
omg aero does look strikingly like Indian Airlines ROFL
Not a fan of orange in particular. But the color keeps the legacy red stuff from looking way outdated by comparison. So it will help with rolling rebranding. Design element wise? The logo is well thought out. It leans forward, fitting with behaviors. It resembles a take-off and is crisp enough to discern from a distance.
Pleasantly surprised. Is it going to be perfect for everyone? No. But is it a good compromise on what we are hoping to represent? I think so.
@an
The blue color was already taken by Hindustan Aeronautics and they didn't want people to confuse the companies due to the overwhelming similarities.
They should have gone with a deeper more vibrant (darker) red to differentiate from the plain fire engine Honeywell red as the shade chosen looks like it was bleached in the Arizona sun.
Bold to call it “Technologies”
Agree … they copied the Indian airline logo including the orange. You got swindled Jim. Probably AI generated by Indian firm.
I rate it a 1, just like the test of the company
I've only seen Honeywell Aerospace's new branding. I'm glad it's not blue, and overall I don't hate it. Things I can't unsee, it looks like !!A but italicized and is strikingly similar to the Indian Airlines logo.
