Lithium EV batteries will be DOA very soon. Sodium batteries called Naxtra will be much cheaper, have superior performance in cold and hot climates and won't catch fire. They are in production now in China. This technology should give a great boost to EVs, but you will lose a lot of money trying to do anything lithium at this point.
