@b2 lol so naive dude they’ve been send data out for over 20 years. All the banks all healthcare, all insurance. You have the illusion that these companies actually have security or care. Ive been told before when working at a major bank the fine is smaller than the savings and only if we get caught and even if we do they usually ignore it.

@qs Well makes sense as their economy is growing.

While we are stuck with a useless Idiocracy-like administration. Am proudly American, but you have to give credit to India for at least caring about their own citizens more.

@qg The Indian system is more of a hybrid of public-funded and private-delivered health care. Every Indian citizen is entitled to free health care at government-run facilities but the private sector is growing rapidly. People with money often choose private care due to perceived better quality, shorter wait times, and public facility staffing shortages.

So I think there could be a market there for Cigna if they wanted to make a big push. Keep in mind that our International business is really small overall.

@q3 Yeah I think they get education and healthcare for free and low cost. While we are stuck with student loans and medical bills.

@mt Doesn’t India have socialized medicine? What’s Cigna going to sell? Bars of soap?

Cigna is going to expand its business in India.

A lot of Fortune 500 and top tech companies have been in India for a long time and they probably want to open up insurance to them through Cigna.

This is extremely concerning. Against the law to have access to US data outside of us. Even other countries restrict their data not leave their own country. How are they underwriting a business that has no business in that country? what's next give full access to our medical data?

@OP The demand for employees who can underwrite for a business they don't understand in a market in which they don't live for a customer base they hate is clearly huge. EHO (formerly HIH) - Extremely Hapless Organization

Are they hiring underwriters in India? Is this for Cigna Healthcare or Evernorth?
