Thread regarding Paramount Global layoffs

Seems like there has been a steady outflow of talent, perhaps even picking up more as of late?

Seems like all I hear or see is ‘my last day is X’.

RTO seems to be doing what it is intended to do.

@qc if he doesn’t layoff fast it’s going to get even worse as investors will flee and the WBD deal falls apart

@nz I'd be so curious to know what the conversion rate was for that offer. 2%? One thing we know for sure: they'll never tell.

So still no one knows when the announcement email for RTO phase 2 will be?

@kc I deleted that email. A f-kn free subscription is the last thing in anyone’s mind. The cruelty of the DE regime knows no bounds.

Don't be sad, maybe you can cheer up by using your new free subscription for BW's The Free Press :) whenever I read it, I laugh and laugh and laugh

If you have to ask whether you’re on the list. You’re not going to be on the list.

Well I cant imagine who will be on those exception lists. Upper managers. Teacher's pets. Itll be the definition of favoritism on display.

@db Heard it mentioned on the multiple smaller dept town halls. And just by reading the different threads on this forum you can see what the decision is going to be. Remote will be called in to RTO, with the exception of the 25% who are on the exception lists that managers just submitted. To think otherwise is just hopium.

@aa there was no mention of this on the town hall that literally just happened, but okay.

@ab that’s how the filthy rich top .0000001% like to roll. That and graping little ones on an exotic private island.

Chill. Its been mentioned on town halls that word will come in June. Around 25% of current remote workers will stay remote based on lists managers are making. So start kissing up to get on that list!
