@kb not true. My paperwork said if they did something illegal I can sing like a canary. The problem is catching them do something illegal.
Tell it to Shart, he's the one that continues to insist that employees be lied to as to why they are fired. It's been happening ever since that id--t showed up.
@ap that is not true.
Only the non Indians under the Indian manager
Bullsh-t
Everyone who took severance signed a cant-sue-WFC contract.
There is no cause of action to sue for.
Like it or not, everyone at Wells Fargo is in at-will employee and they don't need a reason to fire you.
And if they did something actually illegal, you better be able to show all the documentation that you reported it before you were fired.
Class action lawsuit is coming. The good thing is a lot of the managers who are the ones that have to execute these polices aren’t that good. They make a lot of mistakes while trying to handle this stuff. So just keep records of everything. Doesn’t teams make transcripts of calls? Document everything.
This isn't new. This was communicated early in the year by leaders who know this.
@b6 Do we legitamatley have a class action case if we are in an at will state? Asking cause I was terminated for BS reasons a couple months ago
Severance has always been budgeted at the AU level.
More "no severance" troll posting. 100% false. you don't know how it works.
They think the horrible job market benefits their cruelty. It doesn't, it just means their bullsh-t is more likely to land a class-action suit against them.
It's irrelevant really. The pressure from the top to eliminate the domestic workforce will continue no matter what accounting bucket the funds have to come from. They are still routinely downsizing across the enterprise, especially coo and tech. It won't end until we're all gone or Shart is.
Our manager basically gave us all “coaching” for our deficiencies so if they are told to get rid of someone they can do it with no severance. Isn’t is suspicious if everyone on the team is under performing? Maybe it’s the manager?
old news. doesn't mean no more severance period, just that the LOB pays for it. and yes firing without severance is much more common as a result.
@OP . Stop lying
