They give half-baked answers, I don't feel like asking any. F the policy.

@jx because it's not a thing. That person is just being an id--t and stirring the pot with sarcasm
Wait how were you all notified of 8 hours in chair? Please advise as I never got this comm.
@b9 save everything. Emails. IMs, copies of the policies. Save it all. In multiple places.
I'm a manager. Believe me when I tell you, we don't know either. I found out about this at the same time as my directs.
@b2 Nobody has the real answer. The answer will be developed when, months from now, a minimum daily threshold that knocks the correct percentage of the population out of compliance when applied retroactively is developed. If HR tells you that now the criteria is 4, DO NOT TRUST THEM. It can and will change at Elcio and Gunjan's whim. And they WILL retroactively apply it. Whatever causes the story to work for them when firing people for non compliance is what they will implement.
Is it 8 hours or six hours or 4 hours? I cannot find any info.
Most were caught by surprise by the 8 hour in chair mandate in the hub. These decisions are coming from way up.
hr is no help
