@hx Please note that the poster did say that there would be multiple rounds all year; the author didn't say just at the end of the year. "as in there will be multiple rounds of lay offs and if the janitors don't go the first round then maybe the last round;"

@e1 agreed. This here and there layoffs doesn’t help. It should have been done a long time ago. It’s such a poorly run company it’s mad. To have 25k personnel at this market cap is beyond comprehension. THEY LITERALLY CANNOT PAY THEIR BILLS.

@c9 End of the year doesn't help them. If he was really trying to save the company it would have been massive and 3 years ago. This death by 1000 paper cuts method is only a delay tactic so he can get another year of bonus.

@c6 Nope I mean by end of year.. as in there will be multiple rounds of lay offs and if the janitors don't go the first round then maybe the last round; just before the town hall that tells the remaining employees that they are responsible for taking there trash out the dumpster every Friday before leaving.

Only the favorites will remain. Notice I didn't say the top performers. Also, if you are making more then your peers you are likely out. Unless you are a favorite.

I've witnessed it. The best were reduced while mediocre was left alone.

If you really think about it that is telling in itself. The upper managers don't want logical people around. They ask questions and usually intimidate the managers.

If you've been around anytime at all you have seen it and you know it.

@b3 All departments should be touched by end of year with some departments taking more than one round as some work is being planned to move overseas.

The 2nd week of Feb then May and Aug or Oct. It will be the 2nd week of the 2nd month of each quarter this year with the exception of 4th quarter which will be Oct because of the end of the year Holidays.
