Wells Fargo is a nightmare to work for. The environment is toxic, and people are getting laid off constantly. If you're considering joining, don't.

@gh usually they will speak hindi and take less pay.
HORRIBLE.
There will always be someone willing to take your spot for a paycheck.
Thanks for the advice but I started 5 years ago
Left voluntarily (read: eagerly) last year and have busied myself with hiring my best former colleagues away from it. Recently advised a bright university student who was considering an internship to steer clear.
The place has become toxic. That which smells of the sewer will eventually return to it forever.
It is written.
I worked there 10 years until being let go in Feb. First 6 years were great, then downhill fast. Would have stayed for the salary, as they pay very well, but got let go and was able to land another job a few months into severance. Still check the board as a few friends still there. All the big banks are toxic, I think. I joined a credit union and it’s great (remote but lower pay).
Agree 100%. Worst organization and humans I have ever encountered in a professional environment. I can't believe this place functions with the levels of toxicity, incompetence and complacency. This place is not somewhere you should choose to work. Only accept an offer here if you are desperate and need work and have zero other options, and you'll get evicted without another paycheck. Truly. This place is full of terrible human beings, at scale.
I can vouch for that. The antidepressants, anxiety meds, and therapy are adding up.
It's true. Terrible place to work. They pay well, but the additional pay will only be offset by the additional health care costs it will require.
