Is there anybody out there that has any insight they’d be willing to share about this department in terms of a timeline for impending layoffs?

@vn they’ve all been burning PTO for a few weeks now so it’s definitely coming soon
No matter what the worthless x alllina supervisors/managers tell you, they know either by being told by their leaders or they are told directly about the layoffs and time limes. Pay attention to when they start burning their PTO. Dead give away. Hopefully Allina continues to crash and burn and that this Sutter merger cleanses the useless layer upon layer upon layer of so called "leaders".
@rt what’s to tell? It was confirmed yesterday during a huddle by a manager. They said they just don’t have a timeline.
Yikes… Very telling when several supervisors are on LinkedIn with the “open to work” badge turned on.
@pj Yes, only a handful of states pay out your full PTO.
In case anyone doesn’t know, if you live in Minnesota (and some other states I think) they will only pay out 40 hours of PTO when you’re laid off.
So make sure you use it up while you can
And don’t forget to use up your FSA if you have it too

The layoffs are happening this month. A company doesn’t tell an entire department something like this without having their ducks in a row first. Because what happens then is production gets low and everyone starts to use their pto.
There’s a reason why leadership has been OOO so much lately - using up that PTO before they know they gotta go
They wouldn’t bring up EAP programs and not sure on the displaced worker plan for no reason.

I predict the prior authorization team is getting cut soon, like as soon as tomorrow.

Ugh! Filling all the open positions with people from temp agencies is making more sense now.
@fs basically the department is going offshore they just don’t know when but things “ are happening fast”.

I hate not knowing if it will be tomorrow. Next week. Next month. Or 6 months from now. I just want to know so I can be prepared.
@f3 100% they know more. If anyone has been paying attention, nothing said today should be new information
