Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

It’s not necessarily the job market, sometimes it’s the resume, interview skills, or overall approach. I left Humana and found a better paying remote job doing what I love within a month, after only a few interviews and a couple of offers.
And honestly, there’s nothing wrong with hoping for early retirement. Better that than being fired.

@bf at this point everyone should be well aware that there is no job security at Humana. Everyone should also be aware that the job market isn't great. RIFs don't seem to preserve really good employees. The best anyone can hope for is leaving this nightmare on their own terms.

No one should feel secure at Humana because the company is failing. Greed is the first priority of executive team and board. There are other companies who do the same better than humana.

Posts like these are just a slap in the face for those of us who got RIFd and now have to actually deal with this job market and economy. Be thankful for what you have or go somewhere else.
