Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Bad team, even worse manager

I’ve never had it this bad in 26 years, across several workplaces. I honestly don’t know whether this is WF or just exceptionally bad luck, but it’s almost impressive how many incompetent and petty people have been assembled in one place. What makes it worse is that every time layoffs hit, some of the last decent and capable people are the ones who get cut. Negative selection at its finest. It truly boggles the mind.

lol Indians trolling each other on a layoff forum while it’s primarily white boomer clowns making all these stupid decisions. All senior “leaders” from the top down are clueless monkeys throwing po-p around and nothing more.

@g5 "@g2 Sure you haven't. And you still have to go back to the third world :)"

In your world, you are only 100 pounds & attractive and a lot of people are going after you. In reality, you are not only horizontally challenged but also intelligently challenged. Even a homeless person on the street knows you are stink. Wake up and stop dreaming in your world :-)

@fr "@fm If that's how "logic" works in your mind it's no wonder why they fired you (on top of the caveman English and obsessiveness)"

I have never been fired in my whole career. You are just a joke and everybody laughs at you on your back:-)

@f7 "@ak does it make you feel better saying such hurtful ugly things about someone? No marriage or kids isn’t a bad thing- he-l that sounds like vacation to me!! It’s fine to not like someone but don’t act like a child."

It is ridiculous. If no marriage, no kids and over 300 pounds are like vacation to you, why did you say those things are ugly? Based on your logic, you should be proud of yourself for the facts that nobody is even interested in you and you have no value for other people :-)

@OP I've been here over two decades, and while I've experience the worst WF/Norwest had to offer, I've never seen a more opaque management team, worse cronyism (and there was A LOT in the old days), or the hiring of people who are here simply to get rid of other people without fear or regard for ability.

The revolutionary thinking here is how things were run a decade ago, yet these people are being brought in and paid a king's ransom. This ship is sinking.

WF is infamous for laying off the hard workers. It is mind boggling. Almost like they want to fail? But they are just as infamous for the rife incompetence in management. When I was there in IT, there were insanely lazy, incompetent managers. We even had one guy who worked maybe 5 hours a week. Came in late, left early, took hours-long lunches. Then when they tried to go Agile and started pushing the "everone needs to be an engineer" idiocracy, our team was moved several times and the managers just got worse. Over the last couple of years, they have let go of so many of the really hard, nose-down, don't get involved with team drama/politics, workers. I'd assume its because they didn't kiss up to the managers and didn't care to play the games.
WF is so unbelievably toxic, but people stay because they pay ridiculous salaries. That and the job market is bleak. Crazy place.
