@y3 severance package you can be rehired. You are usually only offered it if your position was dissolved and you are over 40. VRP you cannot return and are officially retired
@qh Any details on specific functions included this time around? S&T?
@1ah Everyone hurry up and age!
You need yo reach 55 by 08/22/26
What’s the age cutoff for VRP? When do you need to be 55 to qualify?
I took a VRP two years ago. Best decision ever made. My only warning is this, do not make the decision within the first 48 hours of being offered it, take time think of all the factors both short term long-term.
Anyone know the difference between VRP and a severance package in terms of long term employees. 20, 25 years of tenure plus.
All, please keep it civil.
For those that didn’t qualify for this package, keep in mind that your comments could ring in your ears in the future.
For those that are offered the VRP, please take the time to process, I opted in knowing that gives me more time to decide.
I saw years of retirement waves knowing I am deck.
Save your money, live your well and don’t be a sheep.
@sq you don’t know my personal issues . You think I’m doing this because I want to? No wonder this company is such a nightmare - it employs nasty people like you. You should be written up for a comment like that to an elderly disabled colleague whose life was destroyed by cancer. You’re a sad person.
If you’re 66 working here you got bigger issues. This place is a helhole but they pay us well enough that no one should be here past 62. F U
@rf I’m nearly 66 and can’t really afford to retire but this horrid company has negated any chance that I can prolong retirement without ruining my already failing health. 50 years in the labor force and this is the worse experience I’ve had. And it’s not even close.
Dude, You’re FIFTY and you can’t figure out why they didn’t offer you the package?!?!?
Get back to work, junior
@qm what are the details this time around? Salary and benefits continuation for a year?
I’m 50 and can afford to retire. Where’s my offer?
@qx Think about it. What does the "R" stand for?
Are all groups being offered VRP? Over 55 and waiting but nothing….
RD is getting them. Confirmed by my old contacts.
Sentence 1 we want to prepare for growth.
Sentence 2 we are offering VRP
Why is it only open to people over 55?
@OP Just received VRP email this morning as well and plan to take them up on the offer.
Email just received about VRP. Any insights into what others changes??
Nothings happening all rumors
@qd yet. Did not happen yet
@fa did not happen
@fa I hope you are correct about Monday. They have been holding this carrot above my head for 6 years while I train off shore and local people how to do payroll.
@fa To which groups/roles will it apply?
Spinning off to bottler model?
@fa what other changes are coming
@a5 Monday is correct. 1st of many changes to come. If you qualify for the offer take it
@af Drivers and merchandisers are doing all of the heavy lifting (literally) …. No chance they will be lucky enough to see a VRP window. Besides - how many drivers / merchandisers are > 55yrs ? Not many.
@ac I heard frontline, merchandisers, sales reps and drivers.
@a5 what do you know? What positions/departments?
Monday
