@en it is Wells Fargo Advisors. Not the bank. Whomever is questioning the layoff is stupid and obviously is not from St. Louis.

Federal warn notices are not needed as long as the employee gets 60days of notice. States differ on this.

@et The layoffs I know about were Tuesday 3/31.

@hw

The Sherwood building hadn’t been in use for many many years. I’m not sure they were even using it after Wachovia bought AGE and phased out the AGE Help Desk.

@hn Yes, WF sold the building to STL police for an under market price and they moved into the former WF building about 3 blocks away from the main campus about 4 or so years ago.

Just look down this thread and you will see several people verifying the displacements. I’m wondering if you have a complex that prevents you from accepting that you are wrong. You should go get help for that. Employee assistance can direct you to where you can obtain the assistance you need to help with that issue. I’m sure that your coworkers will be happy if you do so. Adios for ever!!!

I didn’t know the St. Louis city police headquarters had moved to a wf building. That would make working there feel safer

@fb That's not the clever gotcha you seem to think it is- of course I don't live in St Louis? Someone shouldn't need to work in the same city, in the same building, and have access to the same floor as you to be able to verify what you're saying.

Genuinely: what is wrong with you? You can't back up how YOU even heard about it, there's no verification anywhere. You're clearly lying about this and acting like you have the moral high ground...because you get off on boosting unsubstantiated layoff rumors to spread fear and misery?

Give yourself a few more upvotes and go back to sharing AI pics of wounded troops on facebook if you're just looking for attention or someone who will believe your pearl clutching.

@eq Other areas impacted were CM&R and Corporate Actions. Maybe 10-12 within those 2 but they were all being filled in other locations, CLT or India.

@en How do you work for WF and never heard of Operations? Crawl out from under that rock and see what’s going on around you. I know two departments that made cuts because they’re filling them in other locations. Ops teams are being split between India and 2 US hub locations.

@fd Remember there were buildings sold too. The A building was sold and torn down in preparation for a hotel being built. Also, the building now operating as St.Louis City Police Headquarters was sold to the city by Wells Fargo. There were other buildings sold within the last few years that once housed WF employees.

Securities Ops was told their jobs were moving to charlotte earlier this year. They have been training team members there through last week. They let them all go in STL on tuesday except a few managers still doing the transition. You can go on workday & scroll under the managers and who reports to them & see a long list of zz's as of today. They did the same to settlements teams as well earlier. Reportedly all of WIM Ops is moving to charlotte or Minneapolis by the end of 2027. STL will go down to 1 building (F) (that was already announced in a town hall last Nov). Salt lake, Des moines, richmond, etc are all being phased out.
As far a WARN notices I dont know how it works if the jobs are not "eliminated" but moved to another city.

100 people is a lot . The parking lot were empty on wednesday in olive street . So rats will enjoy the free space. Charlie is feeding rats and cockraches in this place for long time. All the buildings have empty floors. May be they accelerate the layoff in st.louis in the coming months.

@f8 I see you didn't answer the question of where you worked in St. Louis. I’m not a liar. Why would I lie about something so devastating to all of the people that were displaced. You aren’t going to see for yourself because you can’t. Troll yourself somewhere else because you’ve taken up enough of my time. Signed by a REAL Operations Analyst employee who works in the St. Louis Mo Hub location of Wells Fargo.

@ez like I said, go see for yourself and ask the remaining people up there if there were layoffs Tuesday. You obviously are not very informed about anything that happens out of your work area. You seem to be the troll to be so adamant on denying what happened to your fellow employees. Wait, do you even work here or, are you someone who is no longer employed at this hub? You don’t seem to be very informed about things going on outside of your immediate area if you do in fact work in the St. Louis hub. I suggest you broaden your knowledge and adventure out of your group. You’d be surprised what you can learn.

The troll always gets super defensive and sanctimonious when he's caught making stuff like that up. (And he's very recognizable as the kind of dweeb who would say "azzhole")

Unfortunately that's thelayoff for you

@et Just go in the F building floor 9 SW Corner of the floor and see for yourself. Most of the employees are gone. Just because YOU didn’t know about it doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. Since the date of separation is 4/1 Maybe the Warn notice will go out today or tomorrow. This is real and many people are now without jobs so stop being an azz hole.

@eq Weird that they were laid off on 4/1, since this thread was posted yesterday. You got a WARN notice or anything to back that up?

@en there were over 100 people from Wells Fargo advisors advisors St Louis Operations Hub laid off Everbrige 04/01/26. They were called into morning meetings and told they’d get 60 day pay and Severance after that time period. Had to turn in laptops and badges and were escorted out the secured building. The areas impacted were under what is considered Settlement areas: settlements, Netwoking, ACAT MF Fails, etc. Tell the ones who were displaced that it is bullsh-t.

What do you mean by "Operations"? That doesn't sound like any division of WF that I'm aware of. I've been in the office the last 2 days and haven't heard anything about it. Sounds like B.S.
