If you are still employed here, and not on a Visa, it's probably not for long. You can do something to stop or even reverse it though. Aggressively report any perceived visa abuse below, even if you're not 100% certain. The future of your career literally depends on reporting these people as it's only going to get worse from here

@kv just like how most of the manufacturing jobs are already shipped to china for cheap labor cost , most of the ‘IT’ work is shipped to India. Blame corporate greed! Blame the stakeholders that rebranded all American companies to a multinational companies. It’s not America only anymore. Just happens to have a headquarters here. If they make it hard here , the corporate creates satellites in Canada , Mexico , china , India wherever they find the next ‘cheaper’ opportunity. This is capitalism.

@zz exactly for each of these we have an unemployed local. How did their companies which includes IBM Infosys TCS bring them over. Postgame their way. Most just do a few courses but their degrees are in some others. Even those qualifications who vetted those as it is easy to buy them there
I have few names to report— all are MF Indians, don’t know how to speak English properly and yet they call themselves sr consultants, sr, manager etc.
Apart from all they smell like some Indian restaurant, I just feel like throwing up when i get close to them.

Go figure, what are the odds that there are no other qualified executives to lead PepsiCo but the disproportionate amount of one ethnic and immigrant class? Statistically that is not possible unless there is some level of nepotism at play and American laws about non-discrimination based on country of origin has been broken many times by PepsiCo, off shoring is actually on shoring of more and more Indians and to me that should be illegal in America, or I thought it was. I think John Gift was hired as a token black so it doesn’t look so bad, I mean this is America last I checked. Any how you swing it, not good look for PepsiCo. I’ve also seen so many Indians from outside of PepsiCo been hired int very senior roles, whilst highly qualified and competent American employees with strong tenure be overlooked for roles. Pretty soon, this company will be run primarily by Indians, 95% not born here. Last I checked we have tons of universities in the US that still give degrees relevant to IT but Indra and Grace Puma made sure they listened to the ‘consultants’ and off shored jobs to Mexico and India. By the time Ramon got here, his pal Athena created a hub in Barcelona for data but most of the folks are hired from India. What consultancy did Athina come from, Accenture?She said more roles for India in her last townhall in Q4.

I am not Indian. I do not work for HR. But I also fully believe that PepsiCo follows all rules/regulations when hiring. That being said, the demographic change in Plano is shocking. The lack of diversity in IT is, well, there IS no diversity in IT. Very few women. Hardly any of whom are black, Hispanic or white. The number of non-Indian men is also disproportionately low. This occurred in record time. I wish I could explain how this demographic impacts the forced RTO for anyone who feels like an outsider. When one feels like they don’t belong; doesn’t have friends; no one to walk to the cafeteria with, it makes the workplace not a place where one wants to spend their time. It’s now just a job. No longer a place where one has a career with co-workers. I do not support any negative/unkind language used in other posts and treat all coworkers with equal respect.
